CeLTIE Audio Archives

Oldies but goodies! IU produced materials from the 1960s and 70s, plus a few others posted here by permission of the authors.

If you want this service to continue, please let us know!

In addition to current materials, we have a large collection of tapes in less commonly taught languages, some dating back more than forty years. Many of them were produced here at Indiana University, and are not available anywhere else. Some are from other sources. Tapes produced here at IU have long been available for duplication to cassette, and those which we have digitized are now also available on CD. There is a charge for this service, based on the length and number of the tapes or CDs.

Since we are in the process of digitizing our older tapes, we are now making some of the sound files available here on our web site. All recordings are believed to be either in the public domain or copyright by Indiana University, except where specific permissions are noted.

We are making these recordings available because we've had requests for them. We make no claims as to whether or not they will be useful to you. Many of the books are out of print, but some are still available in some libraries, and some people have them in their personal collections. In cases where the book is readily available I have indicated where to get it.
