Teaching Statement
     My Chinese teaching philosophy includes encouraging students with proactive teaching
and with emphasis on the daily oral practice. Students should develop interest in learning
Chinese and understand its application potential in the contemporary world. While interest
can be cultivated, I will also include daily examples plus interpretations of stories from 
China’s rich and colorful history. Developing interest will be a process that involved
teacher’s and students' full-hearted dedication.
